Client story: Generators from Germany to Belfast
Belfast City Council made an innovative decision to install highly specialised generators at their landfill site in Dargan Road which effectively converts methane gas into electricity. Generating enough to power 6.000 homes, the system is conserving energy and helping the environment at the same time.
Flexitrans were very proud to be involved in the transport of these generators (originally from the USA) and then delivered to Belfast Northern-Ireland from Germany.
